Vernon Hills, IL – Diversified Foodservice Supply (DFS), a leading distributor of foodservice parts, supplies, and accessories, announced new state-of-the-art distribution facilities in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and Mesa, Arizona. This move is part of a strategic initiative to enhance efficiency and customer service while expanding the company’s distribution capabilities.
The warehouses will services both brands – AllPoints and TundraFMP.
The new Vernon Hills distribution center consolidates former Mt. Prospect and Wheeling facilities into a larger 153,000-square-foot space. The expansion will support a significant expansion to the DFS product stocked parts, small wares, and accessories for customers in the Midwest.
The transition to the new Vernon Hills distribution center was completed on November 13, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for DFS.
DFS also announced plans for expansion into the Southwest with a new 100,000-square-foot distribution center in Mesa, Arizona. The new facility will be fully operational by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Expanding into a larger distribution network will enable faster shipping and service from the foodservice parts and products supplier by more than 1 transit day. The new centers will provide enhanced opportunities for same-day shipping on a broader assortment of products and reaffirm DFS’ commitment to fast and reliable service.
The new distribution centers in Vernon Hills and Mesa will service walk-up and will-call ordering for customers of AllPoints and TundraFMP, two foodservice brands supplying service technicians, small restaurants, national chains, and other foodservice operations under DFS. These centers will offer customers quick and convenient access to both brand’s growing product lines.
